The conservation project of the ÖVVÖ is only made possible by the private initiative of aquarists and terrarists, who provide space and time. The participants are all volunteers and there are no rewards for the time and resources spent. The ÖVVÖ solely contributes to the expenses for the fish for breeding, the biggest part has to be provided for by the project participants.
If you are interested in taking part in the conservation project and also want to contribute to the protection of species, please join the ÖVVÖ as project sponsor. The money will be used solely for the conservation projects (see guidelines).
You may choose between a
- Project sponsorship with a lump sum of € 10,- or more
- Sponsoring membership with an annual contribution from € 40,- up - including the member magazine ATA (in german).
Each project sponsor is entitled to be named on the home-page, if he wants to.
